DATA INFORMATION

Data description: 
These videos record the nesting behaviour of an Australian native bee, Leioproctus plumosus (Colletidae) in residential gardens in Perth, Western Australia. Videos 1-3 were recorded in a backyard in Perth, in September 2010, and videos 4-5 were recorded at a property in Claremont, in September 2020.


SuppInfo1.mov: Male L. plumosus flying rapidly over the nesting substrate in which females were burrowing at Perth, in September 2019. Video by Kit Prendergast.
