Automotive clear coats from Australian and international vehicles were analysed using ATR-FTIR spectroscopy. Chemometric analysis was then carried out to investigate variations in the clear coat chemistry as a result of environmental exposure over 18 months. This dataset includes 2 Excel files containing pre-processed and ATR corrected spectra, 1 Unscrambler X file containing data analysis. Chemometric analysis was carried out using Unscrambler X v10.4.
