The raw shot records are produced by deconvolving DAS seismograms with the source sweeps recorded at the near-field geophones and then by vertically stacking each rotation daily. Yavuz et al. (2021) discussed this method in detail. To estimate the direct wave signatures, we choose a set of deep traces for each well-source pair. These traces are deep enough (~1km), so primary energy (PP) or any other seismic energy does not interfere with the direct arrivals but are shallower than the reservoir depth (~1.5km). To improve the signal-to-noise in this estimation, selected traces are flattened along the first breaks before summation.
