Individual monazite grains were ablated using an ASI RESOlution M-50A-LR, incorporating a Compex 193nm Ar-F excimer laser attached in Split Stream (LASS) mode (Kylander-Clark et al., 2013b) to a Nu Instruments Nu-Plasma2 HR multi-collector ICP-MS and Agilent 7700 quadrupole ICP-MS.
