An Empirical Assessment of the Case of Australia" The data was sourced in its entirety from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) website (https://www.abs.gov.au/). It comprises expenditure data for Australian states, that were processed for the analytical purposes of the paper (converted to real per capita measures using the ABS Price Deflator and ABS population data) for the period 1990-2018, as further processing is clearly explained in the paper itself, and included in the files for transparency.
